Craig Tilley is an award-winning, visually impaired artist and storyteller who investigates humanity's impact on the future, the environment, and each other through the technologies we develop.
The Grapevine Wall, his project, saturates your senses with surreal artworks, immersive mixed reality, and next-level storytelling. It chronicles our triumphs and failures in real-time as the world evolves into a digitized, hyper-connected civilization.Craig, who has limited central vision due to a genetic eye condition, creates his artwork using the art of flow on a digital canvas, carving out intricate images from simple lines.
Each piece of art, known as a VINE, connects to grow the organic story in real-time. Craig combines his love of art with a deep understanding of social and economic trends to create work that inspires human connection and metaphysical exploration.
Craig's goal for this project, which spans 17 years and hundreds of artworks, is to highlight the connections we have with one another, our planet, and the technologies we are developing, culminating on New Year's Day with the completion of the 360-degree surreal art masterpiece and documentary influenced by our actions.
His work will inspire you to imagine what the future could be like if we let creative storytelling and human connection guide us into a world of advanced technology, social equality, and environmental sustainability.
